Join the Extreme team now!Job Description:·Position is responsible for analysis, audit, processing, and accounting for revenue related transactions.·Perform monthly audit sales orders for compliance with revenue recognition policy.·Audit and process distributor promotion and rebate claims.·Verify distributor rebate claims to the point of sale reporting application and make discount authorization claim updates as needed to the data warehouse.·Audit the distributor point of sale data for transmission timing and completeness.·Audit and process reseller promotion and rebate claims.·Monthly reporting of reseller & distributor MDF and growth incentive rebates monthly (including accrual balances by partner) to the channel.·Participate in the revenue cycle internal audit self-assessment testing to ensure compliance with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. ·Prepare revenue reports for actual and forecast reporting. ·Prepare VSOE analysis to determine fair value of products and services for compliance with SOP 97-2.·Reconcile revenue and deferred revenue accounts.·Assist in monthly close process.

Requirements:

·Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years experience.·Experience with a Big Four Accounting firm and CPA preferred.·Strong understanding of US GAAP revenue accounting.·Practical business and accounting experience with SOP 97-2, SAB 104, EITF 00-21 and related revenue accounting guidance.·Experience with Oracle 11i·Strong attention to detail.·Must be well organized in approach to work and disciplined in evaluating priorities in a fast changing environment.·Excellent oral and written communication skills. ·Demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving results, and ability to work in a fast paced environment.·Absolute level of ethics and integrity.Equal Employment Opportunity EmployerAccountant - 1960
