KPMG LLP is the audit, tax and advisory firm with the strongest growth record over the past decade. We offer our clients industry insights and a multidisciplinary range of services. We are currently seeking an Audit Associate to join us in our Milwaukee office.

KPMG's Audit practice uses a methodology that transforms the audit process from a traditional compliance-driven function to a risk-based approach by creating a framework for auditors to assess how a client's business risks affect financial statements. This approach offers a more comprehensive view of how a client's unique risk environment affects its financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
*Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Senior Associates, Managers and Partners
*Identify performance improvement opportunities
*Interact with clients to help ensure that the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
*Understand and utilize KPMG's Audit Methodology

Qualifications:
*One year of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
*BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university
*Eligible to sit for the CPA exam
*Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures
*Able to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities
*Strong knowledge and experience of audits in the Consumer or Industrial Markets industry
*Able to travel
