Audit Manager

We have a great opportunity for a qualified candidate to join a San Diego public accounting firm as Manager/Director with the intent to become an Audit Partner in a few years. The firm focuses on audit for small to medium sized companies as well as tax for both small companies and high net worth individuals. The Audit business focuses on not-for profit companies, governmental entities, employee benefit plans and low-income housing audits. The work is rewarding, and the emphasis for this role will be building upon and maintaining valued relationships within the community. The firm and its management team are well respected and well established in the business community. The firm is ready to pass along business contacts as appropriate to the next generation of leaders who will continue their work. The 'hire-in' salary is flexible and will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience; additionally, the long term salary potential of the role is generous.

The ideal candidate will have roughly six to fifteen years of experience in public accounting and be someone who would like to become a Partner with the firm in the near to intermediate term. This is a long term opportunity for someone who wants to become an Audit Partner of a well respected San Diego firm.
