Commercial Banking Officer - Business Development Officer

We are a locally based, stable bank searching for a seasoned commercial business development officer to complete our banking team. We are a long-established small bank in need of a rainmaker to help us to continue our rapid growth. We have two openings in our growing commercial banking group - one in the Financial District and one in South San Francisco.

We seek a strong, knowledgeable lender who wants to be a "big fish in a little pond" - you will have a portfolio to manage and grow. Because we are a small bank you will have direct access to loan approval decision makers and won't have to deal with "the process" like larger banks.

Some of what you will do:
*solicit new business and individual account relationships and calls on existing customers
*develop new high profile commercial and consumer cli
*expands and increases existing high profile client?s business relationshi
*identify and sell various products appropriate for a given client
*build and maintain a portfolio of high profile customers up to and including the most complex accounts
*participate and promotes community involvement efforts and ensures compliance with CRA outreach programs

What you need:
*3 years of business and commercial lending experience OR 2 to 4 years of experience as a business development officer with 3 to 5 years of banking experience
*ability to read and analyze complex financial statements
*ability to present to loan committee and senior bank officers
*SBA experience is helpful but not necessary.
