Commissions Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

The Commissions Manager is responsible for managing the administration of the Compensation Plan for WW Sales and WW Global Services to ensure accurate and timely submission of payments and compensation statements. As part of the Compensation team, the Commissions Manager is expected to partner with Sales & Geo Operations, Sales Finance, and Sales Management to help define and manage processes and policies within Compensation





Essential Functions:

-Manage a staff of analysts who are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly commissions

-Work with internal & external auditors to successfully pass SOX Compliance audits

-Maintain all SOX documentation including flowcharts & control matrix

-Responsible for designing, documenting, and maintaining controls for risk management

-Partner with Geo Ops and Sales Ops to ensure correct plan set ups and data integrity

-Lead Commissions Accounting team in effort to document all processes and procedures within the department

-Continue to develop detailed sign off processes to audit and approve all commission payments prior to sending to payroll

-Act as business lead & project manager during the fiscal year transition project & implementation of the new comp plan design & process in True-Comp (commission tool)

-Prepare and present to Finance Mgmt a monthly recap of the commissions process which include payment and revenue results, analysis on trends and other comp plan analysis

-Produce commission analytics for use in sales reporting, data mining, comp modeling and various ad-hoc projects to help identify issues or provide understanding on trends

-Lead effort in validating the sales data for accuracy & consistency with the guidelines as defined in the planning process





Requirements:

The successful Commissions Manager is a detail oriented, self-starter who can work cross functionally and build strong working relationships with internal departments. This person is required to meet critical deadlines while maintaining organization and efficiency. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Teamwork and collaboration are required. Strong Excel & Access skills needed. Minimum 2-3 years of management experience, preferably in commissions. True-Comp (commission tool) experience is desirable.
