Controller

Alaska Structures, Inc. a thirty-one year old privately held company with offices in the US and Europe has an immediate need for a Controller to work in our Kirkland, WA. offices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a four year college degree and a minimum of five years of general accounting experience. CPA required. Must have excellent computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of verifiable experience with medium or higher level accounting programs, MAS, Great Plains, Platinum, Timberline, CMAS, etc. Additional requirements include: strong organizational skills, and flexibility to complete non-accounting tasks.

Duties:

Design and maintenance of systems to capture accounting data from several domestic and international sources, preparation of internal financial statements, supervision of account reconcilations and account analysis, and sales proposal cost analysis. Must have ability to learn new things quickly. Position requires sixty plus hours a week including some Saturdays.
