CORPORATE CONTROLLER
**IMMEDIATE Full time OPENING**

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. MBA preferred.
10 years of diversified accounting experience, including public accounting and supervisory experience.
Exposure to professional services industry desirable. (Understanding of Civil Engineering/Construction Management industry a HUGE plus.
Active or inactive CPA license REQUIRED.
Ability to travel up to 25% to oversee accounting in other office locations including San Diego, Palm Springs and Pomona.

Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for supervision and direction of the Corporate Accounting department to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial and tax information and related reports, compliance with corporate policies and governmental requirements, and furtherance of company's financial goals.
2.Provides major input into both the external and internal audit functions associated with the Company.
3.Responsible for fiscal advice to management. Conducts financial analysis for projections, prepares financial projections and comparisons and coordinates information for consultation on company?s financial matters.
4.Work involves corporate-wide responsibility for the direction of several major administrative functions such as financial information and reporting, accounts payable and receivable, taxes, internal and external auditing and payroll. This includes full accountability for policy making, goal setting and results achieved.
5.Reports to: CEO/Chairman

Duties include:
Has full authority under supervision and direction of Corporate Treasurer to carry out responsibilities in accordance with established company polices and procedures, as follows:
a.Prepares financial statements for entire corporation.
b.Enforces corporate-wide accounting standards. GAAP.
c.Schedules/reviews internal and external audits.
d.Installs cost containment programs and pursues financing alternatives with program cost savings.
e.Executes, recommends and/or approves personnel actions, including salary actions, hiring, firing, promotions, demotions of corporate accounting staff, consulting of both exempt and nonexempt personnel.
f.Purchases supplies and equipment for corporate accounting group.
g.Supervision/Work Direction given to others including clerical and professional administrative personnel and exempt supervisors.
h.Tax reporting and Planning- ensure timely and proper preparation of all Federal and State tax returns, state filings and property tax.
i.Profit Sharing Plan and Trust- Supervise daily operations of the Trust with the Trust Administrator, monitor performance of Investment Managers
