Escrow Officer I

First American is looking for an experienced Escrow Officer with a Utah Escrow License.

The Escrow Officer will be responsible for the fiduciary tasks necessary to facilitate and bring to a successful conclusion complex residential and/or commercial-industrial escrows, requiring detailed technical knowledge.

Manages the escrow for complex transactions such as those involving multiple parties (more than 2) as well as transactions on which there are title, escrow and legal issues requiring resolution. May manage the account requirements of a developer of new residential property transactions. May handle 1031 exchanges. May train Escrow Officer /Escrow Closer or others in unit. Manages heavy customer contact and builds and maintains a customer base. May travel to customers when necessary.

Receives general direction and is competent to perform nearly all aspects of the job independently.QualificationsMust be licensed with the State of Utah as an Escrow Officer.

5+ years of escrow experience or related real estate experience
