Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership to a $1.6B Service DI Business. The Finance Manager will have complete ownership of the standalone P&L and will play a vital leadership role in growing the Services Franchise in addition to serving as a business partner to the operating team to drive business initiatives, growth, and profitability. * Manage 15 person finance team located across the USA* Partner with GM and staff to drive operating performance & act as champion for productivity, account reconciliations, pricing, prep of sales plan/monthly estimation of revenue to operating margin, proactively recognize standard revenue recognition practices, deal escalation, and contribution margin walks* Ownership for developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews, operating reviews, World Wide Product Planning (strategic marketing plan), Growth Playbook (3-year Plan), SII (1-year Plan)* Driving profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions* Effectively manage/coordinate/ develop a team of other finance managers & analysts, cost accountants* Streamline Accounting & Controllership practices across legal entities, and work with Controllership & Operational teams to adopt Healthcare SOP's; drive controllership through operational team and ensure SOX compliance* Provide commercial support to sales and marketing, including evaluation of major business opportunities and management of price and margins* Coordinate internal and external financial audits for the business and ensuring all legal, tax, and GAAP requirements are met* Provide Finance leadership for NPI activities (e.g. target costing, margin analysis, etc.)* Help define the IT platform and requirements to support analysis, improve data visibility and ensure controllership~HJ~~CB~ Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance and minimum of 7 years financial work experience or a High School diploma/GED and minimum of 15 years financial work experience Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change Strong PC skills: demonstrated efficiency in all Microsoft office applications and experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, Hyperion, COGNOS, etc.) Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and across business functions Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background You must be willing to take a drug test You must be legally authorized to work in the United States You must be willing to work at our Waukesha, WI facility Desired
* Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment and succeed in a matrix organization* Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations* Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP), Experienced Financial Leadership Program (EFLP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs* Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma General
