Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the FinancialReporting Manager will be a key member on the Finance and Accounting Team and will have responsibility to manage financial statement preparation for Acxiom.

Specific responsibilities include
Preparing accurate financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting that includes:

Preparation of cash flow statement

Preparation of footnotes

Preparation of disclosure documentation

Secondary responsibilities include

Reviewing journal entries and reconciliations

Implementing new accounting standards

Documenting accounting policies

Assisting in training corporate accounting staff on new best practices

Interacting with internal and external auditors regarding financial statement audit and Sarbanes-Oxley audit

The ideal candidate will possess

5 years in public accounting

Experience working at a publicly traded company or experience with clients who are publicly traded companies if with a public accounting firm

Accounting or Finance degree required, CPA preferred

A record of ethical business practices and integrity

Additional experience with a private company is a plus
