Fund Analyst

We currently have an opportunity for a Fund Analyst to join our Fund Administration' Fund Complex Group.
As a member of the Fund Complex Group, the Fund Analyst will support numerous functions, primarily involving fair valuation and daily pricing of our investment funds.
The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:








Prepare and communicate daily security pricing decisions with Fund's Custodian.


Review the daily NAV calculation of our investment funds.


Provide backup on Fair Valuation monitoring and processing.


Prepare and review regulatory filings including financial statements and prospectus filings.


Coordination of quarterly Board reports.


Coordination of annual audit confirmations.


Prepare and deliver fund data and reports to external agencies.


Prepare reports and general oversight of class action filings.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:








Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related area; advanced degree a plus.


1-2 years of professional experience in a public or corporate accounting/finance setting, including experience working with GAAP; ability to demonstrate an understanding of accounting and financial principles.


Ability to interpret accounting/financial information and understand how, when implemented, it may affect corporate profitability, distributor attraction/attention and investor attraction/attention.


Excellent client service skills; superior written and verbal communication abilities.


Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a highly functioning team.


Work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision; ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.


Very strong tools knowledge including Excel, Access, Visio and other applicable PC applications in a LAN environment.


Experience with SEC regulations and knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 a plus.
