General Ledger Accountant

Position Type: Temporary to Full Time

Our client in Brea is seeking a Full Time General Ledger Accountant. This position will report directly to the Fund Comptroller.

This position will be expected to perform a variety of accounting functions in the areas such as:

-Analyze and maintain general ledger accounts
-Manage and interact with external auditors
-Maintenance of Accounts Payable/Receivable
-Assist with Beneficiary Payroll Process

Requirements
The candidate must have a degree in accounting and at least one year of accounting related experience preferably in the public pension fund industry. Strong Excel, Word and general ledger software skills is required. Candidate must have the ability to produce accurate and timely information within defined deadlines, possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
