Job Description:
Employees relate to customers on incoming and outgoing calls in an engaging, personable manner and proactively promote the Discover Card brand and it's products and services. New employees place outbound sales calls to exsisting customers and are required to be on the phone for the majority of your shift. Successful employees excel at building rapport, conveying product benefits, and closing the sale. All employees are required to meet established sales and performance goals while maintaining quality standards. Career-oriented leaders have the opportunity to move into ppositions of greater responsibility and compensation.
Substantial incentive bonuses awarded monthly based on sales results and overall performance.

Work Schedule: Part Time: 25-29 hours per week. Flex Full Time: 35-39 hours per week.
Weekend and holiday scheduling flexibility is required to meet business needs.

Pay: Earn $10.50 - $12.54 an hour, depending on experience.

Flex Time employees with shifts ending at 8:00pm or later receive 10% shift differential.



SKILLS


Required:
This is a phone-sales position requiring a persuasive communication style and ability to overcome initial customer objections.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient keyboarding skills.
Stable work history and reliability.
Enjoy working in a goal-oriented environment.


Desired:
Call Center Sales Experience.
Proficient in using a Windows-based PC and receiving e-mail.
