The purpose of this job is to manage the deployment of national programs and standards, designed to further the critical goals and objectives of AmeriChoice operations, within a specified region and related markets. This role includes participating in the development of national programs and standards as well as development of market specific plans to deploy the national programs and standards with a goal of maintaining the national standard as much as possible while supporting unique market requirements.





Individuals in this role bring advanced skills in both process design and project management and are able to apply these skills effectively across functional departments within markets and across. They function as internal experts on implementing national programs and provide guidance to the corporate Process Owners when necessary to facilitate the adoption of national standards that consider specific market nuances while maintaining defined business objectives.





Qualifications


1. MBA, MPA, BS or BA and combination of skills and experience in the managed healthcare industry.


2. Ability to travel approximately 50%. Travel locations and frequency will vary.


3. Operational knowledge of market specific state regulations and market demographics as well as knowledge of the public sector managed health care business, particularly of the overall workflow and business process intersections.


4. Demonstrated ability to independently and successfully apply program planning and implementation skills


5. Demonstrated ability to work against a plan and meet deadlines.


6. Is detail oriented; has a strong problem-solving analytical orientation.


7. Strong interpersonal and professional leadership skills


8. Strong written and verbal business communication skills.


9. Ability to complete work assignments and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.


10. Ability to build strong, credible relationships. and to work effectively in a collaborative environment


11. Proficient with using Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Visio. Desirable: Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Access.






Responsibilities


This position reports to the CEO/ED of all markets within an assigned region.


Accountable for measurable results in terms of project deployment realization.


Primarily serves as the program and standards deployment expert.


Influences the development of effective national programs and standards by:


Participating with the corporate Process Owner for the respective functions in developing national programs and standards.

Gathering insight from the markets Sr. Mgmt Team and supporting the review and approval process of the proposed national programs and standards.

Developing market specific standards with the goal of maintaining the national standard as much as possible while supporting unique market requirements.


Facilitates the execution of market specific strategies by:


Leading the development of program deployment workplans

Identifying and monitoring related issues/barriers and risks

Monitoring progress by reporting status through the standard program mgmt process/team.


Ensures effective communication of program goals and objectives to ensure maximum market participation in solutions by:


Working with the AmeriChoice Internal Communications lead to develop a market specific communication plan based off of the overall program communication plan

Providing monthly updates to the entire market team regarding overall progress of program and standards deployment
