Medical Billing Specialists


JOB DESCRIPTION:


Medical Billing Specialists collect on problematic and aged insurance claims on behalf of our clients. Contact insurance carries for status updates, resubmit claims, write appeals when necessary, etc. We are looking for candidates that have some expperience working with hospital and/or physician insurance claims.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Experience in medical billing field (hospital and physician claims experience is preferred)

Experience with following up on insurance denials and appeal protocols

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD9 & CPT4 coding

Experience with all payors is preferred
