National Account Manager

Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced National Account Manager for our Phoenix, AZ location.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Lead strategic account team with sales from $0 – $50M. Aggressively grow Climate Control share with each account. Develop strategies that continue to focus on customer's solutions which improve their "bottom-line" performance. Develop strategic alliances with upper management to maximize knowledge of IR products and foster a total customer solutions focus for accounts that have either direct or indirect effect on the (OI) operating income of the climate control sector and IR. Manage Industrial Sales resources to achieve Global Customer goals
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop sales plans and actions that result in new and repeat sales results with assigned national & target accounts.
Act as primary liaison with customer upper management and maintain positive working relationships to understand customer's goals, objectives and direction.
Lead functional activities including building strong cros sector customer relationships, customer knowledge of total product offering, marketing, distribution and sales.
Assume sales leadership for assigned accounts while working directly with retail team leaders to solicit customer feedback to understand business environment and challenges.
Develop total solutions to customer's business problems leveraging full spectrum of IR products and services. Develop pull through marketing strategies for accounts to ensure sector and IR products are recommended in all aspects of accounts business portfolio. Ensure global growth opportunities are achieved through visits with Hussmann/Koxka sales & operation personell as well as customer contacts in countries Wal-Mart is operating in.
Conduct regular focus groups to assess customer satisfaction at all levels within organization. Develop annual business plan and coordinate marketing communications.
Implement (CRM) customer relationship management scorecard to assess Climate Control performance.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of Strategic Account Management experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with proven track record of success in sales.
Excellent experience working with large multinational client(s).
Previous experience working directly with large publicly traded companies.
Ability to research, plan & follow potential leads to secure business.
Must be able to travel up to 35% (possible international travel).
Knowledge of climate control technologies strongly desired but not necessary.
Must have pervious management and/or supervisory experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills a must.
