Reorganization Operations Specialist

Overview

It is the goal of Reorganization Department to meet the needs of internal and external clients and provide stellar customer service. The Reorganization Dept. is responsible for receiving client instructions, via several communications media, and timely submitting those instructions to our security custodians. Upon receipt of Corporate Action payments, the department distributes proceeds to all clients affected. Timely reconciliation, reporting and risk control are also an essential part of department daily activities.



Description

Customer service/operations experience and the ability to solve complex problems, in a high risk area, with minimum supervision. Good working knowledge of Legacy functions and regulatory, audit and compliance policies regarding the Securities Industry. Excellent computer skills.



Requirements

Process voluntary and mandatory corporate actions from announcement of the offer through submission to custodian and reconciliation. Regular contact with internal and external customers to solve problems and conduct research/special requests by using COMTRACKs, e-mail and the telephone. Excellent verbal and written skills are a must as direct daily contact with customers, depositories and transfer agents is an integral part of the position.
