The job incumbent conducts enrollment meetings, educates and respond to customers regarding their John Hancock contract and ensures that customers are able to make maximum use of John Hancock's customer technology. The incumbent sets up appointments with customers, travels to their place of business, conduct meetings with both the employer and employees and respond to their questions and concerns about the products and the use of a 401(k) savings vehicle.




Set up and conduct effective enrollment meetings to communicate 401(k) and investment concepts. Encourage potential participants to participate in their 401(k) plan. Respond to concerns and questions raised by customers and participants.



Assist customers, Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and brokers who wish to conduct enrollment meetings to ensure that John Hancock is correctly represented and all enrollment tools are used effectively.



Assist and educate customers on the administration of their plan and the client technology available to them. Respond to any concerns about the products and their administration.



Manage retention objectives for assisgned plans in alignment with the intermediary strategy. Call on customers target plans via intermediary to ensure that the clients are satisfied with John Hancock, have no service concerns and have had their local assistance requirements met.





Bachelor's degree in Business or related area, or equivalent.
Some industry experience preferred
Excellent understanding of retirement plans, especially 401(k)
Good knowledge of investments and retirement planning concepts
Able to work independently, frequently traveling and developing own schedule
Excellent interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills, ability to finesse in tough situations
Ability to communicate complex subjects to differing levels of sophistication
Excellent time management and organization skills
Creative problem solving skills
Good understanding of how computers are used in the business environment
Excellent knowledge of Windows and common business applications

Must be bilingual (Spanish)
