Senior Internal Control Specialist

Support Corporate Finance and the business units in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts, analyzing impact of new accounting standards, integrating acquisitions, and assisting in the administration of corporate-wide finance policy and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Assist with the project management of the Sarbanes-Oxley project.


Responsible for ensuring business units update process documentation for changes.


Responsible for internal Sarbanes-Oxley testing at business unit locations.


Assist with the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley for future acquisitions.


Responsible for identifying areas for process improvement.


Communicate with external auditors about Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.


Assist with the development and maintenance of the corporate-wide policy and procedure manual.


Work with the business unit controllers to communicate and quantify the impact of changes in accounting standards on the organization.


Perform other dutires as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance plus 4-6 years related experience required. Previous audit experience required. CPA or CMA preferred. Big Four experience preferred.
