Tax Manager

TAX MANAGER (PRODUCTION TAX PLANNING)

Responsibilities:

- Tax structuring film production for US state and foreign country tax issues
- State and foreign film production incentives
- Tax-based film financing
- Interface with the Motion Picture Association on all issues related to film production
- Tax research and tax planning on a project-by-project basis

Requirements:

- CPA certification required; MBA Taxation or MBT preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, internet-based research, tax research and Lexis
- Minimum 3 years public accounting and 3 years private industry experience
- Ability to identify, research and resolve tax issues as they arise
- Self-starter with excellent communication and people skills
- Have a natural curiosity and a desire to grow and expand in knowledge, experience and responsibilities
- Possess the ability to interface with a diverse group of individuals, companies and governmental officials as well as having an astute business sense
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
