ROLE TITLE: Global Product Manager - CMP Slurries

INDIVIDUAL ROLE REPORTS TO: Market Segment Manager

LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ


Key Role Activities
Position manages products with quality and availability/timing consistent with total customer needs. Is the point of contact for commercial issues across segments. Supports Marketing Segment Managers and Sales. Has substantial product knowledge, will own the demand plan for the product line, and may coordinate sales activity relative to new product launches. Representative activities include management of product development programs through Stage Gate process working with R&D, Patents, EH&S, etc., managing of product availability for customer sampling, testing and qualification phases, disseminating of product development project status, managing product life cycle and providing recommendations for product rationalization.

ACCOUNTABILITIES - Including reporting group
· Contributes to product plans including strategy (positioning), brand, sales plans and implementation
· Manage product development programs through Stage Gate (working with IP, EHS, etc.)
· Manage product availability for customer sampling, testing and qualification phases
· Disseminate product development project status
· Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering and manufacturing to specifications and change programs
· Manage product life cycle and provide recommendations for product rationalization
· Coordinate sales activity including training for new product launches
· Align the organization and its resources to respond to dynamic market conditions for product line in accordance with set priorities and goals

ROLE (JOB) SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
· 3 years Semiconductor or related industry experience
· Technical undergraduate degree (e.g.) Chemical Engineering with MBA preferred
· Excellent communication skills
· Substantial product knowledge
