In this position, your responsibilities will focus on the development of college textbooks and ancillaries, accompanying software, and instructor resources. Specific responsibilities include hiring and contracting ancillary authors, project management, competitive analysis, reviewer and content analysis, providing direction to authors in terms of writing and organization of content, shaping ideas for art and photo programs, and assisting the technology and editorial team in the development of content for on-line delivery.


College degree is required. Position also requires 2+ years publishing experience or equivalent editorial project management experience; strong communication and problem solving skills; and ability to develop and control a large number of projects simultaneously, on schedule, and within budget under the general supervision of the acquisition editor.
