The Disney Online Premium Products team creates, markets and operates a variety of productsthat seek to provide relevant, engaging and creative premium online content to our guests.
We are looking for an experienced, creative and motivated Associate Producer to help develop, launch, and maintain our Playhouse Disney Games and Downloadable Games product lines. These currently include Preschool Time Online, Disney Game Downloads, and Disney's Game Cafe.
The Associate Producer is central to the successful ongoing operation of these product lines.
The Associate Producer is responsible for budgeting, scheduling and asset sourcing. This person will track and coordinate the development of the team's products, ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner, and reporting progress to management. This person will also oversee QA testing and deployment of products.
A list of responsibilities includes:
Assist in defining and writing Game Design Documents, Technical Design Documents, and Functional Specifications.
Create and maintain development schedules.
Obtaining necessary legal clearances.
Obtaining management approvals for work in progress.
Manage theflow of assets and information between internal teams and internal team members.
Manage the flow of assets and information between internal team members and external development partners.
Manage the receipt of deliverables for development partners.
Manage the QA process.
Prepare traffic and usage reports on an as-needed basis.
Coordinate contracts and contract amendments.
Coordinate payment of invoices for outside vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in PC-CD ROM or current generation game console production. Must also have a solid understanding of the Internet and thetechnologies employed in the development and deployment of Internet-centric content.(MMOG) Must have experience managing the QA process. Must set and achieve the highest standards. Must be enthusiastic about Disney's franchises and the content that Disney can deliver over the Internet. Must be anenthusiastic game player.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have a working knowledge of game production scheduling and schedule management as well as managementof quality assurance teams. Must be versed in HTML, Adobe Photoshop and FTP client software. Must have experience using project management software including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word. Must have a solid technical background. Must be adept at technical problem solving and have experienced working with databases. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
