Book Search Operations Supervisor - Palo AltoThis position is based in Palo Alto, CA.

In this position, you will hire and supervise a high-quality production team supporting a scanning and/or quality control operation.

Responsibilities:
Team management, conflict resolution, and team motivation.
Oversee all personnel training.
Monitor productivity and quality of hourly workers; take corrective action as necessary.
Keep daily statistics, recognize trends, maintain productivity levels, etc.
Focus on quality control factors.
Partner with third-party employment agency on HR issues.
Train on equipment for maintenance and calibration as required.
Support the design and implementation of new process and material flow.
Create production schedules and ramp-up projections.
Organize production area.
Track operators' billable hours. Qualifications:
4 year degree preferred.
Production supervision experience, especially with hourly operators required.
Some technical experience associated with equipment maintenance or system administration, etc. desirable.
Familiarity with common computer software packages, especially spreadsheet capability.
