Our client seeks an Editor to work in their headquarters located in Pleasanton, California.

The Editor ensures training programs for the company and its subsidiaries are of high quality through effective editing, rewriting, proofing, formatting, and maintenance of masters as needed for facilitated programs and online materials. This individual works closely with Curriculum Developers and the entire Staff Development team to ensure sensible content flow for the courses administered live and online. Duties include applying layout and formatting standards, and preparing documents for production and delivery. The Editor converts online self-paced materials into facilitated formats and vice-versa, and subsequently researches the impact of any changes made to the existing materials.

Requirements
•College degree preferred.
•2+ years experience word processing; 2 years experience in computer design layout.
•Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. MS Project skills desired.
•Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. Must be highly detail-oriented, organized, thorough, and flexible.
•We seek an individiual with solid interperonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
