Edusoft Contract Jr Programmer State Test 1-3 Yrs Java / XML

Position Summary:


OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The State Test Jr. Engineer will write the code for all state tests implemented in the Edusoft platform. They will also maintain a high standard of quality in their deliverables and assist QA in resolving problems as they arise. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop code: Write the xml code for all state test structure and format files using the design specification documents, test file formats, and sample data files. View and understand existing state test report code.

Assist with process and documentation: Help create documentation and processes for collecting state test information, including the design specifications.

Assist with vendor relationship management: Work with the project manager and testing vendors to understand file layout and test structure. 5%

Time management & deadline adherence: Develop a realistic delivery schedule and complete projects on time. 5%

Bug investigation & resolution: Work with QA and the project manager to investigate and help resolve state test bugs.

Requirements
Required: B.S. in Computer Science. Two years of experience working in development. Working knowledge of Java and XML. Proven time management and deadline-driven work experience. Excellent communication, detail-oriented, and familiarity with enterprise software. Excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional organizational skills. Proven experience working with a team.
Preferred: Direct experience working with state test data configuration and reporting.
