Freelance Interactive Flash Designer (^)

Position Type: Temporary

This is a temporary, freelance assignment. Local candidates only. Must be able to work on site for our San Diego Client.

We are seeking a talented Interactive Flash Designer for an upcoming project on a freelance basis. Candidates should have 3+ years experience.

Applicants should be detailed oriented and have the ability to produce organized, dynamic and professional Flash interactives and graphic interface designs. Strong conceptualization skills are a must, as well as an understanding of animation and storyboarding.

The Designer will work closely with an Art Director, Web Programmer and Project Manager. We are looking for a good communicator with a positive attitude who can stay on a timeline and a budget.

Requirements
Qualifications:

* Proficient in Macromedia Flash animation; knowledge of ActionScript and XML a plus

* Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

* Basic understanding of object oriented programming, animation experience, and ActionScript

* Working knowledge of HTML/DHTML, CSS and JavaScript

* Understanding of web standards and compliance

* Comfortable with PC and Mac environments

* Degree in Graphic Design required. Emphasis in interactive work preferred
