SUMMARY





The Junior Product Designer, in close partnership with the design team, is responsible for seeing design ideas through all phases of the design process. The Junior Designer must execute a product vision that meets the RedEnvelope brand standards.





ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES





* Create specs for all products created in department.


* Conduct seasonal trend research.


* Create and execute designs efficiently, managing resources and meeting all deadlines.


* Render and sketch concepts and designs.


* Create trend boards for catalog style-outs.


* Develop & maintain strong internal and external partnerships, working with cross-functional teams (buying, packaging, sourcing) to ensure requirements are met.


* Ensure consistency with RedEnvelope, Inc. point of view.


* Other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


* Must have Vellum, CAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Excel skills.


* B.A. in Industrial Design.
