Photo Manager - Thousand Oaks

The Photo Manager ensures the efficient operation of the Photo Department, including maintaining required records and logs to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. Additionally, the Photo Manager recommends and orders Photo Department merchandise, supervises department employees and provides customer assistance.

Responsibilities:
-Ensures efficient operation of Photo department and Photo lab
-Supervises and trains Photo personnel
-Orders photo merchandise and lab supplies
-Processes photo department sales and film in in-store labs
-Receives and logs photo processing orders
-Maintains all applicable logs and record keeping
-Stocks photo department merchandise
-May be required to open store and cover management lunch breaks
-Ensures compliance with all legal/corporate requirements for photo labs
-Possesses working knowledge of Aladdin kiosk
-Ensures security of high ticket merchandise
-Assists with quarterly inventory preparation
-Provides feedback and offers suggestions to Store Management on department operations
-Cleans and conditions shelves/counter
-Assists customers with various other transactions
-Processes Money Order and Lotto Sales
-Oversees Mail Center
-Processes Video/DVD Rentals
-Performs other duties as needed.
-Cleans front end, stocks grocery bags at check stands, stocks cold box, and fills bag ice and soda machines.
-Puts out orders and receivables; as requested

Education: Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent. Previous work experience in a retail setting. Must complete periodic safety training required for the operation of the photo lab.
