Planner/Sr. Planner, Food & Beverage Finance

The Planner/Sr. Planner, Food & Beverage Finance at the Disneyland Resort will pprovide client-focused, value-added financial and strategic planning and analysis to Food & BeverageOperations, one of the largest and most complex lines of business at the Disneyland Resort. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who excels at quantitative work and has demonstrated knowledge of traditional finance accountabilities. F&B industry experience is a plus but not required.

Participate in the Planning and Forecasting processes within Food & Beverage Finance, including the Five-Year Plan, theAnnual Operating Plan, and monthly forecasts. Create, modify and utilize complex spreadsheet models in Excel, which aggregate/analyze/project financial and operational data from many internal systems (including SAP, SQL and Essbase). Provide thorough analyses that inform the critical business decisions made during these processes.

Regularly interface with partners/clients in Food & Beverage Operations, in order to inform the Finance department's analytical work and underlying understanding of the business ? while at the sametime alerting operators to emerging business issues. This includes regular review of performance metrics, involvement in meetings with operators, and regular walks/tastings/benchmarking at restaurant locations throughout the Resort (at Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, and three hotel properties).

MBA Preferred
2-6 years experience
Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics orother quantitative discipline
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, complemented by the ability to communicate in an understandable, thorough and concise manner
Strong partnering and problem-solving skills
Strong desire to quickly learn new systems, tools and technical expertise and apply these newly acquired skill sets to unfamiliar business problems
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others (not necessarily in a formal business management role)
Excellent time-management skills
Willingness to adapt in a flexible, fast-paced work environment
