Job Description





Ziff Davis Media Inc. is a special interest Media Company focused on the technology and game markets. Reaching over 10 million readers per month, the company provides total market coverage for technology consumer enthusiasts and gamers through its portfolio of award-winning print, online and event programs. We are currently looking for qualified candidates for the Production Assistant position located in our San Francisco CA head office. This is a temporary position.





General Duties and Responsibilities:





Receive and prioritize incoming ad materials


Process all new and repeat advertising materials


Follow up with sales staff and advertisers regarding late/missing advertising materials


Ships materials to printer





Additional Responsibilities:





Assists with:


- providing advertising specifications to advertisers


- communicating with printer to resolve problems with ad materials


- submitting postal letter info


- reviewing advertising proofs


- other department duties as necessary





Requirements:





Comfortable in fast-paced, production environment


Trafficking experience helpful


Able to work independently as well as collaboratively


Strong organizational skills, as well as flexibility


Proficient in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint


1- 2 years experience
