The Situation
The Senior Analyst, Process and Controls position is located in Burbank, CA and resides within the StrategicSourcing & Procurement group business unit; part of The Walt Disney Company. The Senior Analyst, Process and Controls supports all segment and commodity groups within the Procurement Operations department.

The Position
The Sr. Analyst, Process and Controls will be a part of a Financial Planning and Analysis team that will provide process and analytical rigor to support the Sourcing teams in conducting and executing company-wide cost saving initiatives, including spend analysis, project savings and tracking, influence analysis, systems training and support. The Sr. Analyst, Process and Controls will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement controls function, including compliance with minimum control standards, communication of new and updated purchasing policies, tracking compliance with Strategic Sourcing's savings methodology through internal audits, and maintaining the procurement operations manual,. This role will be involved in creating, analyzing, and developing a wide range of reports, financial models and management presentations. This individual will supportactivities primarily with financial, information systems, communication, training and performance expertise.

Key Accountabilities include:

Facilitate the periodic releases of the company-wide spend analysis database of negotiable spend

Perform feasibility of the current spend analysis database, including opportunities to improve the timeliness and quality of data through upgrades of the current tools and processes

Identify segment/commodity negotiable spend and influence review best practices, and identify/communicate process improvement opportunities to all segments

Coordinate upgrades to the Ariba Project Savings and Tracking tool through coordination with IT and segments, including testing and training rollouts

Conductdata collection and complete updates to the department's Procurement Operations Manual, including scheduling of periodic releases to ensure content remains relevant

Facilitate the department's responses to the Company-wide Minimum Control Standards, including being the department's point ofcontact with the business units

Perform internal audits to ensure departmental compliance with policies and procedures

Support financial and other information inquiries from Corporate Procurement stakeholders

Participate in the development of long-term direction for the Procurement organization

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through decision support analysis

Desired Qualifications:

3-5 years experience in public accounting, financial planning, management consulting, investmentbanking, and/or corporate finance

Bachelor's degree required, CPA preferred

Good understanding of Strategic Sourcing processes

Excellent spreadsheet and computer modeling skills

SAP Procure to Pay and GL experience preferred

Big Five Accounting Experience Preferred
