Performs project management and development tasks to define requirements, design, implement, test and release new or enhanced generic web engines and tools that satisfy requirements of multiple organizations. Should be expert on Internet tools and technologiesand have solid working knowledge of software engineering processes. Provides training and guidance to technical personnel and coordinates with other organizations to define requirements for future technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Computer Science degree is preferred. Position requires seven or more years experience or equivalent expertise.
The minimum requirements for this job are: An ability to work with high degree of independence,

Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to other engineers and technical personnel, and recommend technology platforms and designs and implement system level Internet solutions.

Ability to coordinate with other organizations for requirements gathering,technology and process evangelism purposes

Abilityto recognize common user requirements and to design or recommend generic software solutions to meet them.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

These specific skills are necessary for this position:

Expertise in server-side or client-side web/browser application developmentlanguages such as Flash ActionScript (Object Oriented), XML, and TEA.

Key emphasis for client-side development working with server-side applications via a standard protocols (HTTP/HTTPS). Additionally dealing with structured localized and server-side data formatted in XML.

Proficiency with web site design via HTML, DHTML and JavaScript, anexpertise with client technologies such as IE, Netscape browsers and Win32 development, as well as server technologies such as WinNT, IIS, SQL Server, UNIX, Oracle, and Netscape Enterprise Server.

Knowledge of Internet protocols and standards such as HTTP and of web authoring tools such as Shockwave and Flash is desirable.
