Performs project management and development tasks to define requirements, design, implement, test and release new or enhanced generic webengines and tools that satisfy requirements of multiple organizations. Should be expert on Internet tools and technologies and have solid working knowledge of software engineeringprocesses. Provides training and guidance to technical personnel and coordinates with other organizations to define requirements for future technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Master's Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Computer Science degree is preferred.

Requires seven or more years experience or equivalent expertise.

Additionally, the following are considered minimum requirements for the position: Must be able to work with a high degree of independence and efficiency,defining and interpreting project requirements with minimalsupervision.

Must have strong ability to provide technical leadership, guidance, system design and architecture,and project management to internal and external developmentteams.

High level of expertise on state-of-the-art Internet technologies

High level of proficiency in Internet development technologies

Ability to recommend how to best leverage third-party technology platforms

Very solid knowledge of software engineering development processes.

Must have well-developed technical documentation skills to produce specifications with little or no changes and iterations.

Needs an ability to define system level design concepts and best practices and to work with engineers to maintain design integrity of the application.

Must have an ability to coordinate with other organizations for requirements gathering and technological and development process evangelism purposes.

SPECIFICSKILLS REQUIRED:

The following are considered more specific skills that are required for the position: Expertise in server-side web application development languages such as Services Oriented Architecture, Java, Perl, JSP, EJB,Servlets, SQL, C++, Perl, PHP and ASP. Expertise with web site design via HTML, DHTML and JavaScript, expertise with client technologies such as IE, Netscape browsers and Win32 development. Expertise with server technologies such as WinNT,IIS, SQL Server, UNIX, Oracle, and Netscape Enterprise Server, Internet protocols and standards such as HTTP. Experience in developing and optimizing scaleable, high performance Internet applications with knowledge of web authoring tools such as Shockwave and Flash desirable.
