Sr Web Designer

Position Type: Full Time

Seeking a senior hand-on website/graphic designer to support the Creative Department and work closely with the Director of Development in establishing conceptual and stylistic direction for the company and its development products. The Web/Graphic Designer will be involved in all phases of the design process, including concept development, look and feel, and execution.
Must be a strong visual designer. A solid understanding of the internet and interactive design is essential. Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash , ImageReady or Firework, and Dreamweaver is required. Also Knowledge of HTML and CSS are a big plus.
Independent thinker and self starter. Must have ability to own projects and assist as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Develop the look, feel and design under the direction of the Director od development.
-Create visual design solutions that address business, brand, market, & user requirements, including the design of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements
-Create optimized graphics for web site implementation
-Plan and Design online campaigns, including mini sites, banners, pop-ups, emails and print material
-Work directly with engineering team to ensure work is in alignment with marketing strategy & brand identity
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent organizational skills.
-A team player that can easily adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Requirements
TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and 4 – 6 years industry related experience
-Strong conceptual design skills and interactive experience
-Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash , ImageReady or Firework, and Dreamweaver is required. Also Knowledge of HTML and CSS are a big plus.
-Portfolio with a range of creative samples that demonstrate relevant work or projects
-Read/Write Chinese is a big plus.
