Description


Performs business development activities for the Northern California Region. Builds and maintains a base of prospects and new clients. Accountable for more complex and/or larger businesses. Develops sales strategies and networking opportunities. Continues to master negotiation skills. Creates and conducts presentations. Prepares final proposals for qualified prospects as a final step in establishing financial relationships. Analyzes needs of prospects and provides information about Bank products and services that can enhance client's financial position. Collaborates with Relationship Managers with the closing of deals and the implementation of banking services. Interacts with Bank colleagues to discuss prospects and referrals and formulates sales strategies. Documents all calling activity and provides reports to management as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum of 6 years commercial lending experience is required.
Good understanding of all products and services applicable to target client segment required (background in lending to technology companies is desired).
Good knowledge of commercial credit policies and procedures, and bank operations policies and procedures required.
Demonstrated sales and marketing abilities required.
Good credit analysis and accounting skills required.
Must be capable of working well independently and in teams.
Must be able to work autonomously in making sound business decisions and exercises appropriate level of authority commensurate with experience and responsibility.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
