Director Product Management - Bill Pay

Position Summary: The Director for Payments will be responsible for the entire line of Bill Payment solutions, Funds Transfer, Pre-paid card and other related products for all Digital Insight Online Banking core products ranging from consumer Internet Banking through Corporate Cash Management. The current business totals approximately $100 Million annually, is used by over 1.6 Million end users, and processes over 6 million transactions per month. The product lines are currently growing in double digit rates with some products growing even faster. In aggregate, Digital Insight is one of the largest CSPs in the country and integrates with the largest payment providers. The role will include ownership of the product vision, strategy, partner portfolio management, roadmap release & planning, competitive analysis and positioning. The Director will be measured by profit and loss in the category, product delivery, market growth, and client satisfaction.Duties & Responsibilities:1) (30% of day) Vendor Management - This position is responsible for the management of the various partners that provide products and services. This includes approving projects, building performing relationships, and monitoring invoices.2) (25% of day) Strategic Planning for current and future product offerings - This position will help design the next generation products within Digital Insight and with partners as well as prioritize and coordinate and prioritize projects.3) (20% of day) Sales, Client Relations and Alliances Support - This position will act as the Subject Matter Expert for the larger and complex sales and will support the three groups as needed for the various products. This position is also the escalation point for issues surrounding the various responsibilities. Could include speaking opportunities, client webcasts and demos.4) (15% of day) Management: This position is responsible for the management of a team of product managers and business analysts dedicated to supporting the Payment product lines and writing business requirements for new projects.5) (10% of day) Provide excellent customer service skills across and outside the organizationRequired Experience:Required Experience:Qualifications:Along with your outstanding drive for accomplishment, the successful incumbent will bring with them:1) Excellent verbal/written communication skills, as well as effective listening skills.2) Masters of Business Administration or equivalent preferred.3) 8+ Years product management or similar experience related to bill payment or other payment products.4) Programming or similar technical experience is preferred.5) Prior experience working in or servicing the financial institution industry strongly recommended6) You are an expert in online Bill Payment and payment processes such as ACH, RPPS, etc.. 7) 10+ years experience in product management in a payments related role or company, preferably a high tech or Web site operations; banking or financial services experience a plus8) Applied skills in areas such as: Development of Web-based services, such as ASP offerings, e-mail outsourcing, payment processing, etc.; Large-scale Web site operations and development;9) Demonstrated history of success in high-performance organizations. 10) Excellent communication skills11) Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize12) Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative13) Ability to build business cases.14) Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
