FINANCIAL WHOLESALER / ASSOCIATE REGIONAL DIRECTOR

We have ongoing opportunities in our Milwaukee office for Associate Regional Directors to join our US Distribution Sales Team.
The Associate Regional Director works in close partnership with Regional Directors of assigned territories to create a unified and highly targeted sales approach and contribute to the growth of Distributor businesses, increase Russell's AUM, and to provide a consistent, elite client experience.
The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
Assist in the development of Distributor relationships and direct sales efforts by meeting client goals and growing assets under management: identify, prospect, and develop new relationships through a highly targeted, outbound sales effort to broker-dealers, banks, and advisors.
Assist in new business development and lead generation of "private money manager/separate account" product-line and the expansion of "institutional multi-manager/multi-asset class" mutual fund product line wholesaling; assist in the development and implementation of consultative business, practice development and prospect strategies.
Provide partner education and training regarding Russell's investment process and sales techniques; assist in the development and delivery of presentations on Russell's fund strategy in comparison to other products in marketplace; communicate Russell's offering to various levels of financial sophistication.
The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
5-10 years of investment industry experience, including 5+ years of wholesaling investment products; in-depth knowledge of mutual funds, separate/wrap accounts, sales strategies, and account relationship management.
Value added wholesaler; Advisor to Advisor and consultative selling experience with a record of success.
Separate account experience; understands platform and related asset allocation; excellent presentation skills, client service, and organizational abilities.
Highly refined communication and interpersonal skills, strong business judgment and negotiating skills.
A high-energy level is essential, as is the ability to be self-directed and self-managed while possessing proven decision-making skills and the use of a highly developed level of discretion, judgment and sensitivity to deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing or a related area required; Series 7 and 65 licenses are also required. High integrity and clean U-4 essential. CFP, MBA, CIMA or ChFc designations beneficial.
