Helpdesk Specialist- Broker Portal

Responsibilities

This person is a member of a small highly skilled team dedicated to building and supporting a mortgage wholesale business. This person is the first point of contact for all problems and informational calls coming into the Bear Direct Helpdesk. Principal Duties and Responsibilities ? Create problem tracking record via an automated or manual system ? Reset passwords ? Identify, resolve or pursue resolution to completion of users workstation setup issues, browser, connectivity, and application issues ? Verify through replication if problem is a Major Outage ? Monitor and Escalate failure of critical processes and perform Major Outage notifications to appropriate Business Units ? Provide Daily Turnover report of previous days problem issues and ongoing maintenance and daily call performance ? A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Required Experience / Skills ? 2+ years in related Phone support customer service position ? Proficient in windows technologies and operating systems ? Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. ? Proficient in Internet connectivity and use. ? Capable of handling high call volume ? Highly skilled in addressing problem situations via Remote Access software i.e. Timbuktu ? Articulate and able to multitask
