General Definition of Job Function:
The Business Support Assistant Manager is responsible for: Assisting with development of Wireless Policy and Procedures, maintaining communications with the customer and the sales team, providing customer requirements to the PRC and monitoring their performance to ensure compliance, identifying and resolving customer issues, directing the efforts of the Business Support Representatives, monitoring the activity and performance of the Authorized Service Centers, assisting LGIC engineering in identifying equipment performance issues by collecting data and samples, and direct the development and presentation of Level I,II, and III training.
Examples of Duties and Tasks Performed:
Assist with development and/or review Service Policy and Procedures to ensure Market competitiveness
Negotiate Service Agreements
Communicate daily/weekly/quarterly with Major customer accounts
Assist sales teams and customers with resolution of problems
Review weekly reports to Major customers
Review monthly Ship/Receive reports Major customers
Participate in weekly Sales team conference calls
Participate in weekly conference call with Solectron Global Services
Provide guidance and support to Business Support Representatives
Communicate with LGIC engineering to ensure all support tools are current
Assist Customer Service with technical information, policy information, and issue resolution
Provide customer information and requirements to the PRC, monitor for compliance
Assist Warranty claims and ASC administration departments with wireless policy, requirements and pricing.
Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associates Degree or equivalent technical training.
Minimum or 5 years experience in Cellular service or PRC operations.
Good interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office software, and general office equipment.
Knowledge of CDMA theory and operation preferred.
