Job Description:

To provide clinical leadership and consulting on all patient care units, including program development and operational issues, and with clinical therapists assigned to those units. To ensure that all services for cases and program elements are provided in a timely and appropriate manner and within the guidelines of regulatory and accrediting bodies. To provide direct and indirect patient care, psychotherapeutic services to patients and families; to serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the facility’s treatment program and philosophy; to serve as the primary liaison between the facility and outside agencies for discharge planning, abuse reporting and continuum of care functions.

Job Requirements:

Master degree in social work. Graduate course work in psychopathology, human development, ethics, clinical assessment and therapy required. Candidate must be eligible for licensure as LCSW in the state of Alaska. Four years post-degree experience is required, with two years in a management position preferred.
