Description:

Candidate would serve as a Site and Support analyst for the BAE IT Electronic Management System (EMS) team which assists the individual and business electronic filing.
The BAE IT team is responsible for total software life cycle development from acquiring requirements to site support.
The candidate's primary responsibility will be for the EMS lab installation, configuration and support.
Candidate's secondary responsibility will be to support the electonic filing production (especially January-April).
Responsibilites would include setting up the lab to support development and testing and to install software wherever required.
Candidate must keep up to date on the latest releases of OS patches, firmware upgrades, and updates to COTS software.
Analyst would also assist in configuring Solaris systems for network operations and in writing shell scripts.
Responsible for configuration control of moderately complex products or systems.

Develops configuration management plans to meet contractual specifications.
Performs research to identify operations issues.
Applies mathematical models and formulas to identify recommended resolution.
Develops and applies quality assurance standards.
Writes inspection procedures.
Interfaces with customers, vendors and internal departments to resolve quality assurance issues.


Must have the following:
*US Citizenship
*Bachelor's degree
*Related technical training (or equivalent experience)
*At least two years of directly related experience
*Minimum Previous experience configuring Solaris systems
*Previous experience configuring systems for network operation
