MY CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A SR.TREASURY ANALYST.

Objective:To assist in administering the efficient utilization of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company, including oversight of certain Treasury Analyst I duties.
To lead strategic initiatives including implementing cash management systems to optimize operational efficiencies.
To ensure that strong relationships are maintained with financial institutions, other administration departments and with field personnel in a manner consistent with Company policies and procedures.

Essential
Functions:
Prepare company s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling.

Responsible for activities related to Company s Investment portfolios, including:

Update daily cash position as needed.

Monitor and determine the type of short-term securities to be purchased and/or sold within the prescribed investment policies.

Responsible for accounting, recording, and reporting of various Investment portfolios, including:

Review investment transaction/position reports.

Prepare and distribute monthly investment activity schedules for the Finance Department in a timely manner.

Reconcile monthly investment/trust statements to various general ledger accounts.

Oversee escrows including:

Review pledges and related correspondence

Prepare financial reports and reconcile trust statements to the General Ledger

Review qualification requirements annually and communicate to the field

Responsible for other cash management activities including:

Act as a liaison between banks and company personnel to resolve problems and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Responsible for leading key projects including: evaluating alternatives, making recommendations, managing processes and deadlines, and implementing solutions.

Perform certain program administrator duties for purchasing card program.

Provide support to and backup the Treasury Analyst I.



Required Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting/Finance; CCM/CTP a plus, 5+ years experience in Accounting, Finance, or Treasury-related area.

Required Experience
& Knowledge:
General knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for investments and other financial instruments.

Some experience in the preparation of financial/investment schedules and SEC filings including some disclosures.

Knowledge of investments, banking, and financial instruments is a plus.

Experience in building/using and/or modifying financial models that evaluate various financial plans.

Knowledge of treasury software is a plus.
