JOB SUMMARY:

Portray a positive image for the Company by accurately addressing all customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Strive to continually improve the level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and monitoring. Act as a liaison between the customer and internal departments of IR.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Communicate directly with customers via phone, e-mail, fax or mail to identify and resolve a wide variety of issues and inquiries regarding policies, availability, change orders, programs and pricing.
Research, document and administer product warranty programs including credits, replacements and return material authorizations.
Act as consultant to advise basic product application.
Represent the organization daily though customer contact and relationship building.
Work with internal departments to facilitate accurate account handling and to resolve customer issues.
Meet all service level agreements as set by management.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
OBJECTIVES:

Meet all service level agreements as specified for the Contact Management Representative Position.
Act as a trusted liaison for all customers as well as all internal departments of IR.
Learn the Schlage and Falcon product lines and be able to assist both internal and external customers with their questions and concerns.
Work with other members of the team to meet the overall departmental goals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge & Work Experience:
1+ years of related customer service experience, preferably 4 years plus in a customer service related field. Telephone/ACD experience is preferred. Computer experience including use of MS Word, and MS Excel.

Education & Minimum Years of Experience:
Some College and 1+ Years of related experience.

Additional Skills (Computer/Technical):
Ability to work on computer systems and learn software programs. Ability to study and learn hardware technical information.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Hours of work required: A minimum of 40 hours a week with the potential for required overtime.
