Printer Technician

The Field Service Engineer provides on-site customer service and technical support to maintain and/or repair our technologically advanced printing systems including pre-& post-processing equipment. Through preventative maintenance, the person in this position ensures customer equipment performs at optimal quality and efficiency. Position is a 7/24-field service environment.

- Records and maintains the required service documentation
- Maintains a sufficient inventory of parts and materials for on-site service and support
- Establishes and maintains customer relations
- Oversees and assists with equipment installations
- Troubleshoots problems and delivers solutions
- Continuously communicates and coordinates with other Oc departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Required Skills:
- Minimum of two years of experience in technical field support within a mainframe or print server printing environment servicing complex, electromechanical devices, or in a directly related role or work environment
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Education in electronic/computer component repairs or equivalent work experience a plus
- PC diagnostic program skills
- Microsoft Office and printing systems service software proficiency a plus
- Possess operational knowledge of testing/diagnostic equipment
- Possess writing, speaking and listening and courteous and professional interpersonal communication skills
- Should be readily available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
