Job Description:


The primary objective of a United Rentals Sales Representative is to proactively increase revenue for the branch through both quality customer service and new customer outreach. Our Sales Representatives are instrumental in implementing the branch's business plan by seeking out new markets and optimizing opportunities to increase profitability. Daily activities will include providing a full range of services to potential customers, including needs assessments, quotations, contract preparations, and customer demonstrations and training. You will also be expected to keep up-to-date on equipment/supplies through regular communication with vendors and manufacturers.





Requirements:


Qualified candidates must have some proven sales ability, F.W. Dodge Report experience, and a familiarity with other construction lead reports; a Bachelors Degree is preferred. Knowledge of heavy equipment and retail exposure is helpful, as is a strong customer service orientation. All candidates must be PC proficient, particularly with current business software, and possess above average business acumen, including experience with profit and loss accounting concepts.
