DEPARTMENT: Health Education







SCHEDULE: Full-Time regular; 40 hours per week; day shift; Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm; Tuesday: 12:00pm to 8:30pm







EDUCATION: MPH Health Ed.







LICENSE / CERTIFICATION: see education







SKILLS TESTING: N/A







QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of instructional and adult learning theory. Group facilitation and public speaking experience. Ability to work with all medical center personnel including coordinators, physicians, staff, patients, volunteers, environmental service staff, and housekeeping.      







DUTIES: Knowledge of instructional and adult learning theory. Group facilitation and public speaking experience. Ability to work with all medical center personnel including coordinators, physicians, staff, patients, volunteers, environmental service staff, and housekeeping. Duties: Must have strong expertise in one of the following areas: nutrition, smoking cessation education, behavioral health, and physical activity. Must be able to provide group instruction and counseling if necessary. This may include follow-up phone calls to participants who miss a class session.
