The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Company (P&M) is now accepting online applications for the position of Electrical Engineer (0608-50035458) located in Berry, Alabama now through November 15, 2006.
This position researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems for an underground coal mine and the surface operations of an underground coal mine.

QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic and industrial uses.
- Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
- Uses computer assisted engineering design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction installation, and operational testing conform to functions specifications and customer requirements.
SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS OR ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS/INFORMATION:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Electrical Engineering.
- Relocation benefits will be considered.

- EXPERIENCE B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in computer modeling, MicroSoft Office and MiroSoft Project.
