DESCRIPTION: Manufacturing Engineering Manager AL This impressive and world class manufacturing facility is looking for a high caliber individual to join their highly regarded engineering team. The ideal candidate will be able to demostrate a minimum of 10 years of successful progressive experience in a modern metal fabrication, assembly and paiting envionment. Will work with the new product development team as well. Must be a self-starter, well organized, fast thinking and results oriented and ability to lead others. Experience in motorized/mobile vehicles in fabrication equipments, such as lasers, plasmas, cnc brakes, large welding robots, and painting;and assembly preferably in a medium to heavy industry in a vehicle OEM.this company is a lean enterprise facility, working with black belt projects; it is ISO9001;2000 with on going continuous improvement projects and quality management systems. The successful candidate will be articulate and must be capable of building strong relationships and leading by example. A BSME or related Engineering degree, heavy metal fabrication, weld, paint and assembly background and a desire to work for best in their marketplace is needed to succeed in winning this position for your next career move. Active particiapation in a continuous improvement culture throughout the company and implementing new or enhanced processes and equipment to support the manufacture of On highway vehicles are some of the primary duties.
