SALES ENGINEER

The Sud-Chemie Inc. operation in Needham, MA is a manufacturer of industrial catalysts used in environmental applications.



IMMEDIATE OPENING:

Sales Enginneer

JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:


Reporting results of testing / reporting and answering questions from customers


Receiving RFQ's from existing and/or potential customers and determining best fit of product line (applicability) and quantity of catalys needed


Preparing sales quotations for these RFQ's - specifically in industrial VOC catalysts business and product line


Serving as industry champion (salesperson) for line of catalysts that are sold into the wood panel board industry


Preparing forecasts for sales markets


Answering technical questions from existing and/or potential customers


POSITION DESCRIPTION:


The successful applicant must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or chemistry with two or more years experience in catalytic or thermal oxidation to include experience with catalyst sales and application in the wood panel board industry.





This position also requires exceptional customer relation skills and availability for travel upon short notice. Travel will be approximately 20-30%, mostly domestic but with some international travel required.
